Melee Weapons Tables
Weapons on Talis are, simultaneously, more restricted and more varied than they are elsewhere in the Imperium. This is because, following the Night of Fire, the majority of the planet’s industrial production capabilities have been lost. Instead, the people of Talis rely on caches of weapons recovered from pre-War ruins and whatever the fanes and forges of disparate Machine-Cults can produce. Furthermore, as time goes on, Technomats and even average people try their hand at modifying their weapons.
How this differs from standard Dark Heresy is that the many variant patterns of weapons present in the Imperium (as reflected in the published materials) is not present on Talis. Instead, all weapons begin life as one of the basic examples of weapons provided on the following tables. After the core weapon type is established, the player may (at character creation) apply up to 2 modifiers to the weapon, listed in the section titled “Weapon Modifications”.
